Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Mount Kembla Public School!
As a small, close-knit school, we offer a warm and supportive environment where every student is known and valued. Despite our size, we provide a rich variety of opportunities typically found in larger schools. Our students are encouraged to use their initiative, demonstrate common sense, and act with honesty and integrity. We embrace multi-age groupings, fostering collaboration and respect across year levels. Students take ownership of their learning through goal setting and reflection, with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.
Our passionate staff deliver high-quality, engaging programs within an integrated and balanced curriculum designed to prepare students as active and informed global citizens. Beyond academics, students participate in exciting activities such as robotics lessons, school and PSSA sports, Southern Stars performances, public speaking, and Tournament of Minds. These experiences help develop the whole child and create lasting, positive memories of their time here.
We invite you to explore Mount Kembla Public School and see how our unique blend of a small school community with broad opportunities can support your child’s growth and success.
