On Thursday 26th August our school held a Book Week Parade. The children dressed as characters from their favourite books. We saw fairies, pirates, Willy Wonka, Aerial, The Mad Hatter, Alice, Harry Potter, Hansel and Gretel, Tashi, Rapunzel, Angerlina Ballerina and many more wonderful characters. There was even a special apperance by the Cat in the Hat, the Karate Kid and the White Rabbit.
Many parents, grandparents, familes and friends came to watch the children parade around in our COLA. There were many happy faces and lots of cameras were busy. After the parade we had a book stall where people bought books to donate for our Home Reading Scheme. The children will have a sticker put inside it with thier own name on it. We are very grateful to all very generous parents and friends.
Thank you,
