The Mount Kembla Public School Parants and Citizens (P&C) Association is a passionate and dedicated group of parent, caregivers and community members who work closely with the school to enhance the learning enviroment and the overall experience of our students. We are committed to supporting quality public education and fostering a strong sense of community.
The current positions on the P & C are held by:

Our Purpose
The Mount Kembla Public School P&C Association plays a vital role in supporting the school and it's students.
We exist to:
- Promote the interests of the school by fostering close cooperation between studnets, parents, teachers and the broarder community.
- Provide additional resources, facilities, and equipment to enhance our childrens learning enviroment.
- Support the welfare and development of all students through inclusive, community building activites and events.
- Promote the value and importance of strong, inclusive public education system.
We also advocate on behalf of students and parents and work with schools on initiatives that benifit the whole school community.
Meetings
Our P&C meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6pm in the school library. Meetings are friendly, inclusive and open to everyone in the school community- whether you're a parent, grandparent, caregiver or friend of the school. Your welcome to come along, share ideas or simply listen and stay informed.
Get Involoved
Joining our P&C is simple: just come to a meeting or email mkpanddc.secretary@gmail.com for a membership form. Annual membership is only $1.00 and becoming a member allows you to vote on decisions and help shape the direction of our efforts. Your involvment, big or small makes a difference!
Volunteering & Events
Throughout the year, the P&C organises and supports a range of events, both to raise funds and to bring our community together.
These may include:
- Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls
- BBQ'S and sausage sizzles
- Special Celebration Days
- Discos, raffles and more
Volunteers are always welcome and both members and non members of the P&C can volunteer. Whether you can help for an hour at an event, coordinate a fundraising stall, contribute to us financially, run an event, or work behind the scenes....ever bit helps. If each family lends a hand over the year, we can achieve amazing things together!
How We Use Funds Raised
Funds raised by the P&C go directly back to the school to benefit the students. Projects may include upgrades to facilities, classroom technology, play equipment, learning resources, and support special programs and initiatives identified in partnership with the school leadership.
