Mount Kembla Public School canteen is open on Mondays, it is run with a passion for taste, variety and promoting healthy food choices. We provide a range of ‘home made’ recess items prepared fresh in the canteen for the students to enjoy along with warm and fresh lunch options.
When setting the menu we are looking for low fat, low sugar and low salt options, while following the school guidelines of 75% everyday foods and 25% occasional.
Our canteen is run on a volunteer basis through the P&C Association. It's because of our parents and carers that we have a canteen, we are very thankful for their contribution and time.
Our aim is to provide nutritious and tasty food at a reasonable price, any profits from the canteen go back into the school to benefit the children.
